2019 Fiesta Family Blues Festival

Wheatley Heights Sports Complex 200 Noblewood Drive, San Antonio

The San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM) is partnering with the San Antonio Fiesta Commission to present the inaugural Fiesta Family Blues Festival on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Wheatley Heights Sports Complex from 4-11 p.m. Local favorite, Michael Ward (also known as “the Velvet Violinist”) will headline the performances, showcasing his mastery of the blues violin. Opening entertainment begins at 6:00 p.m. and includes, BillyRay Sheppard, Joe Jama, and The Davidson Brothers. SAAACAM Oral History Techniques Training (Open to the Public)
