Get ready for a 'Night of Soul' in La Villita as we celebrate Black Music Month with the opening of the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum's newest exhibit, "The Soul of San Antonio" on Monday June 10th at 218 S. Presa at 5pm!!   The new exhibit, which replaces the current exhibit on Eugene Coleman, Sr. will take you on a journey throughout the decades with the origins of San Antonio music, its legends and the places where music was historically celebrated in our community!     Pre-Preformance Dinner: 5:30pm Concert: 7pm The Tobin Center, 100 Auditorium Circle The San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM), in partnership with Bexar County and the Tobin Center culminates Juneteenth 2024 with a celebration of contemporary choral music. SAAACAM is collaborating with the Classical Music Institute and the San Antonio Gospel Heritage Choir and friends to present "Seven Last Words of the Unarmed", by composer Joel Thompson, finishing with a classic by Richard Smallwood.
