Usually, the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM) hosts Open Houses at the historic Sutton Family Homestead at 430 N. Cherry St. every fourth Saturday of the month from 10am to 2pm.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are hosting virtual open houses throughout the summer. Our virtual exhibits are available on our website. Each month we will debut a new exhibit. We are excited to share our history, “Because We Need To Know”.
We welcome and encourage community support. If you would like to volunteer or donate to SAAACAM, please contact us at 210-724-3350 or admin@saaacam.org.
SAAACAM encourages visitors to vist our website and learn more about its membership program, event partnership/sponsorship opportunities and to purchase tickets to the 2020 SAAACAM Fiesta Family Blues Festival.
