The Texas A & M San Antonio Methods of Historical Research Class taught by Dr. Pamela Walker present "There's A Story Here". The unveiling of 13 historic places in San Antonio designated as safe spots for Negro motorists during Jim Crow.  Come out and meet the students, hear them discuss their research, meet the SAAACAM staff and volunteers plus enjoy food and beverage.

Museum of the Future Competition Reception

The students from San Antonio College Architectural Design IV Class present the final design winners of their spring 2022 capstone,  "SAAACAM, The Museum of the Future." This reception and presentation is sponsored by the San Antonio Chapter of The American Institute of Architects and Alamo Colleges. The class is a concluding architectural design studio for the lower-division which continues from Architectural Design 3. The course is intended to fulfill all or part of each of the following 2014 National Architectural Accrediting Board Student Performance Criteria: B.1 Pre Design, B.3 Codes and Regulations, B.5 Structural Systems.

Juneteenth Night at the Missions Fundraiser

Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium 5757 W. Us Highway 90 Access Road, San Antonio

The San Antonio Missions play the Amarillo Sod Poodles in a Juneteenth Fundraiser to benefit the Texas Kidney Foundation and SAAACAM. This event will celebrate the contributions African American players made to the sport of baseball. VIP Tickets include a meet and greet with the South Texas league Negro League Players, all-you-can-eat-buffet, The Invisible Diamond exhibit, access to the Negro League memorabilia silent auction, fireworks and fun!!!
