Conscious Conversations – Racial Pride/Black Dignity for Middle Schoolers

This month we speak with two power houses Kayla Wilson and Torry Sledge to discuss with our students racial pride and Black dignity. Kayla lead the charge to change the name of Robert E. Lee High School to L.E.E. High School. Torry Sledge is the founder of Young Ambitious Activist (YAA). YAA has marched against police brutality, registered voters, fed the homeless, brought attention to the murder of Army soldier Vanessa Gullen and more.
