Kwanzaa Celebration Kujichagulia: SONGS OF DETERMINATION

Join SAAACAM (San Antonio African American Community Archive & Museum) at the Witte Museum for a Kwanzaa Celebration on Wed. Dec. 27th 4-6pm with special guests, The Haus of Glitter Dance Company! To celebrate Kujichagulia – to define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves and speak for ourselves – we will inviting families to bring objects that represent your family’s past, present, or future to share a story about you + your family. The Haus of Glitter will also be holding space for a song workshop to share musical heritage from the African Diaspora and their creative practice.  Space is limited. Register today!
