Burial Ground: Exploring African American Resting Places

Join us as we explore San Antonio City Cemetery #3. The tour group will embark on a one-mile trek through this historic cemetery to uncover the buried history of some of San Antonio’s most intriguing African American stories. Tour is suggested for individuals age 16 years and older. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes as the cemetery grounds are rocky and uneven. Tour Check-in will be on the corner of S. Palmetto and Wyoming. This tour is approximately one hour long. Tickets are $25 per person. Member tickets are discounted. In case of inclement weather, this tour will be postponed to a later date.
