In 1962, African-American classical pianist Don Shirley employs tough, out-of-work bouncer Frank “Tony Lip” Vallelonga to be his driver for a concert tour into the Deep South states. Tony accepts the job and they begin their trek armed with “The Negro Motorist Green Book,” a guide for safe travel through America’s racial segregation…. a ride that would change both their lives.
Immediately following the film, join us for the lively panel discussion.
