February 7 @ 8:00 am - February 21 @ 5:00 pm

The Honoring Black Voices exhibit highlights the groups and involvement of African Americans in the San Antonio and Hill Country area, specifically around Kendall, Kerr, and Gillespie Counties. This exhibit features the Honoring Lincoln Elementary exhibit from SAAACAM as well as a supplemental exhibit created by the Boerne Public Library highlighting schools, churches, and organizations in the Hill Country. We are also excited to announce that the Black Outside and Camp Founder Girls are joining us for a special screening of Founder Girls (2023) on Feb. 22nd at 1 pm. This documentary shows the longevity and strength of the Camp Founder Girls, as well as the history of the camp founded in the early 1900s by Ms. Mattie Landry in Boerne, Texas.
